Hose Securing Grips

Hose Restraint

Investigations, tests and practical experience have shown that when using high-pressure hoses in water jetting applications, a significant hazard can arise in the event of hose rupture, particularly at connection points. The whipping ends of the hose (whip effect) pose a serious safety risk.

To prevent this hazard, relevant guidelines require the use of appropriate safety measures. In all cases, local conditions and the specific installation situation at the respective work site must be carefully assessed and taken into account.

Hose restraint cables in single-piece or split designs provide a suitable solution. They can be used both to secure hoses to one another and to secure them to the surrounding environment, for example to a vehicle.

In the split version, a VE 01209 connecting hook with a load rating of 3.5 t is used (875 kg at a fourfold safety factor / breaking load 3,500 kg).
